HELLO!
Just a note to let you know that we have made the "move" to our place up north:
21379 Buckridge Road
Hillman, Michigan 49746
(989) 742-2739
STILL have more unpacking to do but it is all summer stuff and can wait 'til after the holidays.
The pets love it here - the cats, Wizard, Patches, & C.T. are having a ball jumping from window to window and crouching at the door wall to bird, squirrel & deer watch! Patches was "cat-a-tonic" when the turkey waddled around at the steps of the deck. (She couldn't get over the size of that bird!). Shelly Sheltie was laying down next to her saying, "Aw - I see these ALL the time! You'll get used to it!"
Documented so far - 91 species of bird. Paul saw a Northern Goshawk pass over his hunting blind the other day! It is so cool to hear the Saw-whet Owl and Barred Owls during the night. Always heard the barking/yapping of the coyote, but - the other morning - heard the howling (soooo eerie) + hear elk across the Co. Rd.! Bear have also visited our back yard. The deer went to vacation in Florida for this hunting season!
Weather conditions are about 10 degrees cooler than downstate - which is just fine with us. We have had about 1 - 1 ½ inches of snow that lasted a couple of days. It since was washed away with the rain.
BEST WISHES FOR THE HAPPIEST OF HOLIDAYS!
(PLEASE KEEP IN-TOUCH!)
